The Assistant Athletic Director plays a vital role in shaping the culture, visibility, and operations of the Athletic Department. This position focuses heavily on student-athlete leadership development, coordinating legacy events and traditions, and providing game-day supervision across various sports seasons.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Student Leadership Development
• Design, implement, and facilitate the Student Leadership Course for team captains

2. Special Events & Legacy Traditions
• Fisher-Kelley
• Athletic Hall of Fame
• Coordinate seasonal senior nights and special events

3. Game Supervision & Operations

Provide complementary administrative oversight and facility management for designated home contests, including spectator management, official greeting, and event safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Education, Athletic Administration, or related field (master's preferred).

2. Experience: Experience in coaching, athletic administration, or secondary education required.

3. Skills: Strong public speaking, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to engage, teach, and mentor high school student-athletes.

4. Availability: Must be available for flexible evening and weekend hours during home game events and special ceremonies.
